From PassivePromotion.com: This month I released my 8th full-length album, slated to be my last physical release. I might have gone the digital-only route this time if I hadn't won free CD manufacturing from Disc Makers through the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. The fact that it was a physical release allowed me to take pre-orders, which provided the opportunity to test out my latest crazy idea - one that actually panned out for a change! Here is how I described The Individual Edition CD to my fans: Click here to read Brian's entire post. |

From the Reverbnation blog:
We've pulled in some best practices from our partner, Audiolife, listened to some creative suggestions
from our users, and even looked at some of the early data from the
Reverb Store to come up with some key concepts and a Top 5 list.
Key Concept: Items that sell the best are...
- Relevant (speaks to a particular segment of your fans)
- Exclusive (gives fans a sense of 'rarity' around the product)
- Limited (gives the fan a reason to buy it now)
Think about these attributes when creating a product. Is it something
my fans can relate to? Is it something that will be special to them? Be
creative.

The Sticker Guy has been making punk rock stickers for almost fifteen
years. Here he explains how to design the best vinyl stickers
including an introduction to the printing terms you might encounter
when finding a sticker vendor. Digital printing offers a wider variety
of colors and higher resolution printing, but nothing is quite as
weatherproof as printed vinyl.
