Hi David.

My name is Robin, and I am VP-Marketing for a startup called Gigdoggy.

I host the company blog (www.gigbloggy.com) and have written about the Indie Artist X project on three occasions. It is a wonderful initiative for all artists and I plan on keeping my readers up to date whenever you publish some progress. Keep up the good work!

Since you are in charge of X's website online presence and branding, I thought I would let you know of a service we launched in May called Fanteraction™: it's a mobile direct-to-fan platform for musicians that allows them to easily create mobile websites for their gigs.

These websites are meant to enhance the overall gig experience by allowing fans to know which band (and what song) is playing in real-time, view band bios and song lyrics, download tracks (free or through itunes) , send messages (with twitter-integration) etc..

We believe Artist X could benefit from having a mobile profile set up for his/her activities, and it would be a good complement to the already existing web presence you have set up for X.

Gigdoggy's Fanteraction website: http://gigdoggy.com

If you wish, I can send you a one sheet explanation and pitch of the Fanteraction service, describing its main features, and our thoughts on how it could help Artist X connect with fans, as well as consolidate his/her brand.

Please let me know what you think.

Take care,

Robin Charmant

Hi Robin,

Thank you for reaching out and suggesting the IXAP check out Gigdoggy. I would like to learn more about the service but there isn't much info on the website right now. Please send me the one-sheet when you can (I'll send you my email address). Is there an online demo available?

Indie Artist X is on tour right now but I can forward the one-sheet and website info to Martin Atkins and R3 who are leading the IAXP "Touring Channel" and Cameron Mizell at MusicianWages.com who is leading the "Online Awareness Channel". I can forward it directly to Indie Artist X when they return from tour too.

We will definitely check it out.

Thanks,

David
